Een jury van 120 smaakexperts beoordeelde in de Brusselse Erasmushogeschool zowat 1200 dagelijkse voedingswaren uit 89 landen van 480 producenten. Ze deden dat naar aanleiding van de negende 'Superior Taste Awards' op 30 mei in Concert Noble in Brussel. De jury bestaat uit 60 sterrenchefs en evenveel sommeliers uit vershillende Europese landen. De testers zien de verpakking van de producten niet en moeten zo een volledig subjectief oordeel kunnen vellen.
